Transylvania Venture Day is the bi-annual regional investment event initiated by Techcelerator and the Romanian Tech Startups Association (ROTSA). Each edition puts a curated selection of startups, scaleups, product companies, university research teams and spin-offs on stage in front of local, regional and international investors, and then gives them the time and structure to turn a good pitch into a real conversation.
North-West RDA's one-stop-shop for innovation, entrepreneurship and investment in Northern Transylvania. We give startups, SMEs and investors what they need to grow: market intelligence, access to funding and partners, acceleration programs, and technology transfer that turns research into products the market can use.
A continuation of Transylvania Demo Day
Transylvania Venture Day continues Transylvania Demo Day, the regional pitching series ROTSA initiated in Cluj-Napoca in 2013 to support the local tech and innovation community, putting startups in the spotlight and matching them with investors, media and public stakeholders.
Over the years the format grew into a national series:
Alongside the Demo Day series, ROTSA organized Investors Day in partnership with Techcelerator, an event dedicated to bringing investors and startups together. Transylvania Venture Day is the next step in that evolution, with Cluj-Napoca as its home base.

Technology-driven teams from Transylvania and the surrounding regions
The organizing team selects [8–12] teams per edition based on the strength of the team, the innovation and market potential of the product, traction to date, and investment readiness.
Selected teams get a short pitch-preparation session before the event.
