What is Scalematch?
Scalematch is a program designed for startups who are in the process of scaling up before and after a funding round.
As companies grow, their needs become vastly different so in order to create value, Techcelerator has put together 2 distinct tracks, providing highly specific support centered on the current stage of startup.
Techcelerator's contribution to the Romanian Startup Ecosystem
Before a funding round
Designed for startups that received traction but have not raised a significant round and will require capital in the near future. The focus here will be on getting your startup ready for funding while making the most out of your existing growth.
Post funding Scale Up
Designed for established scale-ups looking to lay a better foundation for continued growth. The focus for this track will be on ensuring the sustainability of the company in various markets, business partnerships and cost controls.
Past Editions
The matching is done by judging the industries of our guests VCs investment strategy, strategic interests of the invited corporation’s, products maturity, identifiable opportunities, the investment / partnership objectives, and last but not least by the availability of the 2 invited parties – founders & guests.
The evaluation and selection of a number of 20-25 teams for each edition will be done quarterly, in March, June, September and December. For future editions, we will announce the selection in due time on our social media channels and newsletters.
